DaVita takes care of you
Kidney disease does not prevent you from traveling. During your vacation, we will continue to provide your dialysis sessions. Contact the office, head nurse, or social worker at your DaVita center to clarify any questions and formalize your request—we will take care of the rest.
If you are traveling abroad, don't forget to check the validity of your ID card, European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), and, where necessary, your passport, taking into account your travel dates and the length of your stay at your destination.
If you travel to a country not covered by the European Health Insurance Card, payment for dialysis sessions must be made locally. Please check with your DaVita center for amounts and payment methods, or to the email geral-pt@davita.com.
