DaVita Portugal officially marked the opening of its “new” renal care unit in Cascais at an event attended by leading figures from the healthcare sector and local government, symbolizing a new chapter for the organization and the community it serves.
The ceremony was attended by the general director of DaVita Portugal, Paulo Dinis, the clinical director of the Cascais unit, Jorge Dickson, and head nurse Ilídio Calado. The Cascais City Council was represented by Mayor Carlos Carreiras and Councilwoman Carla Nunes Semedo. Several guests and employees of the organization were also in attendance.
During the event, participants were invited to take a guided tour of the clinic's new facilities, where they were able to see the improvements firsthand. The space was designed to provide a more comfortable, functional, and welcoming environment, with the aim of further enhancing the quality of care provided to kidney patients.
